From the 19th to 21st June NECC conducted field investigations in Nairobi County and its Environs.
June 19: The NECC team conducted field investigations on the following issues:
- Noise pollution from KAG Olympic Court and Evangelical Church in Kibra
- A leaking pit latrine causing wastewater overflow, leading to the collapse of a neighbor’s perimeter wall in Kahawa West
June 20: The NECC team investigated substandard waste management practices associated with poultry farming activities, which have resulted in significant air pollution in Upville Court, Mutonga Estate, Gatongora Ward.
June 21: The NECC team investigated the discharge of sewage into the open environment, resulting in air pollution and posing a health hazard to residents near Oasis Estate in New Valley, Kitengela.
