National Environmental Complaints Committee (NECC) was involved in the World Clean-up Day, 2019 which was held on 21st September at Ruai Market, Kasarani, Nairobi County. The event is a global social action program aimed at combating the global solid waste problem, including the problem of marine debris. It was graced by Chief Guest, Environment and Forestry CAS, Mohammed Elmi, Ag. DG NEMA, NEMA board Chairman and Nairobi City County Governor and the public.
