    • NATIONAL TREE PLANTING 2019

    National Environmental Complaints Committee (NECC) led by committee secretary Dr. John Chumo participated  in the tree planting exercise during the launch of National Tree Planting Campaign for the short rains which was held on 15th  October 2019 at Mutuini in Dagoreti North, Nairobi county . More than 3,000 seedlings were planted.

    The event was graced by Forestry Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Environment and Forestry Keriako Tobiko who  led the Launch.The CS said during the short rains season the Ministries and its stakeholders will plant over 50 million seedlings.

    The launch was attended by Cabinet Secretaries Amb.Monica Juma(Foreign Affairs) ,Amb. Raychelle Omamo(Defence), Hon. Raphael Tuju, Dr.Margaret Kobia(Public Service), Charles Keter(Energy) ,Amb. Amina Mohammed(Sports) among other top National Government officials.
